Citation Mustang Conversion Training Citation Mustang Conversion Training (CMCT) provides the training necessary for a Pilot in Command Type Rating on the Cessna Citation Mustang. This course provides candidates with the skills to operate either as single pilot or multi-crew depending upon the candidates skill level. In addition, the candidate will have an in depth understanding of aircraft systems, flight planning, weight and balance, and performance for a Cessna Citation Mustang. Upon the successful completion of this course candidates will receive a Citation Mustang Type Rating. In addition to this rating completion will also satisfy the requirements for an instrument rating renewal (if required) and recency requirements. To be eligible to commence a Citation Mustang Conversion Training course you must hold at least: •A Private Pilot, Commercial or Air Transport Pilot Licence; •A Command Multi Engine Instrument Rating; •A current Aviation Medical. It is recommended that you have previous EFIS cockpit experience, preferably with Garmin G1000 avionics systems. Pre-qualification Candidates will be assessed on their suitability for single pilot, pilot in command (second in command required) or co-pilot endorsements at the time of application. Flight Options Citation Mustang Conversion Training Instructors Our instructors are some of the most experienced pilots on the Citation Mustang. They will be at hand at any time before, during or after the course to answer questions and provide assistance. Course Times Citation Mustang Conversion Training courses are conducted periodically throughout the year, contact us to find out upcoming course dates. Course Duration The duration of the course will generally be two weeks, depending on variables such as student progress and number of students. Location The Flight Options CMCT course is conducted at our Sunshine Coast based flight training centre, located on the Sunshine Coast Airport, QLD, Australia. Equipment used for training Flight Options CMCT students have access to Full Motion Level D Cessna Citation Mustang Simulators and Flight Training Devices (FTD) to complete their course in. Course Components CMCT consists of two main components: theory and simulator training. Theory Students will be required to complete a technical course exam on aircraft systems, flight planning, weight and balance, and performance. Simulator Training In order to successfully complete CMCT with Flight Options you will complete a minimum of 2 hours systems integration on the FTD and 12 hours simulator training before attempting the CMCT proficiency check.
